Gone Out West!

purplehello98Hello everyone out there! I'm currently out West (I shan't specify where for privacy's sake) visiting Blue! It was a few hour's drive to the airport from my campus today, but I made it just in time after having some Dairy Queen for lunch. I got a panini for the flight, since it was only a few hours and so they didn't have meal service despite my dinner time being during the flight! And it was more expensive than the plane food by a few dollars, when I'd thought the plane food would be cheaper, but it was also much more meal-like, as since it was a pretty short flight all they had were snack-type things. And the panini was really good!
I was sitting next to this couple and their adorable baby, who was so well-behaved! He only cried once, pretty quietly, when his ears popped, and slept like a baby (ha) the whole flight. And he was so adorable! I wish I could sleep like that on flights.
I had quite a lovely flight! I love that there weren't seatback screens, unlike my flights to and from Korea: I was forced to be all analog---relatively so, at least. So I read a book, listened to some music on my iPod, crocheted and listened to a podcast on my iPod! And people-watched, or rather people-listened (or rather, eavesdropped)---there was a pretty handsome guy behind me and the couple I was sitting next to were talking about parenting styles. At one point the wife also mentioned Pride and Prejudice and I was sorely tempted to interject. Please be proud of me that I didn't!
So I've had a lovely flight and a nice day. I'll talk to all y'all later!
