New Laptop!
Nov. 21st, 2025 10:28 pmNo, not one to replace my beloved MacBook, but to replace the Mac mini with Windows XP that I've been using as a desktop! With my semesters abroad coming up, I realized that if I wanted to keep using my beloved outdated operating system, I needed to take it mobile! I got a Dell Latitude D610, which is apparently one of the very last 4:3 Windows XP laptops--and I love the 4:3 ratio! The only things that bug me about this computer so far are that A) so far, the wireless card doesn't seem to work with my home Wi-Fi network and B) the hard drive is only 60 gigs. I can fit my iTunes library and most of my documents on it, but it's going to be a challenge to fit my photo library on this computer. I'm committed to do it, though! Now, I'm off to go install some more stuff. Toodles!
