These past few days, I've continued my Bob Ross classes (my last one is tomorrow) and I completed another painting (this one took two days as it's rather complicated.) I think the most recent tutorial we've used is the same one Ann Reardon, one of my favourite YouTubers, uses in this video:

Or at least I thought it. It turns out they're just very similar, but the one we did has a trail and the land shape is different, plus it's mistier. But either way, honestly, my finished painting isn't perfect, but I think it's still pretty great! I'd say it's pretty great for my first time painting mountains, and I'm at least glad that I salvaged the snow caps on top of the mountains (there was a moment when I almost completely thought I had ruined it) and that I managed to make the trees in the foreground look somewhat similar to trees instead of just green triangles.

I've also finally felt the inspiration to write again! (Huzzah!) Sadly, I'm not able to write at my old rates yet, though. Somehow, in the springtime, I was normally managing 1000 words a day, whereas right now I'm doing maybe a fifth of that. I suppose I might just be a bit rusty though, as it's my first time in two months or so where I've felt able to write any stories at all. I should also finish a couple unfinished WIPs I have laying on my hard drive sometime.

Also, my school sent out the supply list, which includes the named of the teachers for each class, and apparently the new science teacher who'll be teaching chemistry and biology shares the same last name as my great-grandparents. I wonder if we're related? I hope that said new teacher, as well as the new English teacher, are cool.

Also, I need to read my human geography summer reading book that we've been assigned but honestly, I don't think anyone else in my grade has done any summer reading, and I don't want to think about school yet, especially not the person who's teaching it. (I don't know if I've said this before here, but he will swear up, down, left and right that he won't give us weekend homework and then assigned something on Thursday and makes it due Monday or Friday and makes it due Tuesday because it's apparently not weekend homework if we can work on it during the week.)

Anyways, I want to go write some more instead of griping, even as therapeutic as complaining to my Internet friends may be, so I'll talk to you all later. Bye!

So yesterday, I went to a museum with my mother and found some interesting things, which I wanted to show you some of. First, there was this TV that looked like a giraffe.

There was also this horrible map, which excluded not only the entire island of Ireland, but half of Nunavut, as well as Hawaii and some other places.

The last thing I want to show you is this painting, which I thought looked rather like Mrs Bennet from the BBC's Pride and Prejudice.

Finally, I want to leave you on two videos. The first is this video by Count Binface, who ran for mayor in London this year.

The second is this video, which is just amazing!

Anyways, that's all that I have to talk about today, so I'll talk to you all later. Bye!

So there's this museum in my city that specializes in historical stuff, like old art and artifacts (there might be some pun there, but I can't be bothered to find it) from ages ago. So it's moving to a different building in town, and tomorrow is the last day that it'll be open before it moves, so my mother and I are going to drop by in the morning to take one last look at it all as it is.

So lately, I've also been watching a lot of videos from the Onion. Honestly, some of their things have oddly come true recently. Like there was a video in 2009 or so about Friendster dying, and later on it actually did. There are probably some more examples, but once again, I can't be bothered.

To continue with the theme of being just kinda lazy, I still have yet to finish the script for my first summer reading video. I've read plenty of books this summer so far, but I do NOT want to actually do any videos for summer reading. Ugh.

Anyways, that's all that I have to talk about (summer can get kinda monotonous), so I'll talk to you all later. Bye!

So recently, I've been working behind the scenes on a potential redesign of this site. It has a space/star background, and an 80s-inspired logo, and a slightly different colour scheme for links and stuff. Right below is an image with a comparison between my current design on the left and my potential redesign on the right.

So yeah, tell me which one you prefer on my Neocities profile.

But yeah, other than that, my life has been carrying on like before, for the most part. However, I'm pretty annoyed atm because I noticed that the Facts of Life reruns that I've watching a) are only on Monday through Thursday and b) have quite a few bits cut out, as well as the theme song sped up in some instances to make room for more annoying adverts. Why must the Logo channel do this?!?
Also, it's been raining super hard recently where I live. Honestly, I'm pretty sure that this is the most rain that I've seen in a 36-hour period in my whole life, and there's been over ten cm since last evening. Plus, (much to my delight) it's supposed to be rainy until at least Thursday, though I hope it calms down somewhat. Below I have a bit of footage that I took of the rain, so you all can see just how hard it's been raining.

By the way, I've been uploading some short clips of cool things that I see on my YouTube channel, so if that sounds cool to you, then go check that out!
But yeah, that's pretty much all that I have to say, so I'll talk to you later. Bye!

So recently, over the past few days I've been watching a ton of YouTube videos by The Internet Investigator, someone who looks into Internet mysteries. For some reason, I hate most horror/creepy stuff, but I love Internet mysteries and stuff. Honestly, I kinda wanna like make some sort of Internet mystery game. I considered using another site I run (though it's pretty inactive) to set one up, and made a couple Geocities sites and stuff to set it up, but it hasn't really came up to much as it would be a ton of committment.

In other news, I finished watching Pride and Prejudice yesterday, and OMG COLIN FIRTH'S MR DARCY IS MY NEW DREAM HUSBAND! (Update: as of 2022, I no longer fawn over Colin Firth. I'm not going to say anymore. 2022 Lizzie out!) (New update: as of 2023, I no longer have my weird grudge against Colin Firth. Again, no more context, LOL. 2023 Lizzie out!)

Ahem. So anyways, it was a super amazing series! Apparently, according to iMDB, the woman who played Dawn in The Office UK was the same person who played Maria.

So back in school type news, one of my least favourite teachers is going to be gone today, so that's always a cause for happiness. But on the other hand, we have a somewhat substantial project for his class due tomorrow and as seems to be the case rather often, we don't have enough time. And it's not even the final project, which we'll probably only have like two weeks to work on. Also, we're getting the prompts for our final essay for English tomorrow, which I'm kind of excited about somehow.

Also, in terms of English, we recently had to do a creative assignment. One group from my class came up with the best idea ever, which I won't say here because I don't want anybody else to steal their idea. My group had to write an alternate ending for Macbeth, which involved dance battles (to the song Money for Nothing), as well as the three witches sarcastically commented while everybody was dance-battling. It was amazing.

But yeah, lunch period is getting pretty close to being over as it's currently 12:53, so bye!

So the past few days I've been listening a ton to Dongheon and Yeonho from Verivery's cover of Love Confession by Jay Chou, and it's SO AMAZING. Like honestly just listen for yourself, it's so good!
